What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a complementary health modality that uses the mind’s natural ability to create a positive attitude that supports life, joy, goals and health.
It’s something we experience every day – while we’re watching TV, driving from A to B, doing the washing up, playing a computer game, with “self-talk”, or in a meeting. …When we naturally slip into a “hypnotic trance”, it’s as though everything else has faded away.
Hypnosis reduces stress and relaxes the nervous system. It’s fun and you can easily learn to hypnotize (or de-hypnotize) yourself in less than ten minutes.
Techniques like visualization, progressive relaxation, suggestion, reinforcement, and mental rehearsal enhance your natural resources, to create positive change.
What happens in a hypnosis session with me?
We start with a conversation about the problem you would like to change. And then I teach you how to hypnotize yourself to discover how easy it is!
I then take you into a full induction where you will feel very relaxed. You will be able to speak and communicate with me, if necessary.
When we are finished, I will bring you out of your trance state, and you will feel refreshed and re-energized.
